Dynamic IP address
This refers to the addresses that are automatically assigned for a specific period of time and might change in the future
Domain Name Service / Domain Name System (DNS)
Provides resolution of names to IP addresses and resolution of IP addresses to names
Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP)
This refers to the centralised IP address management. Gives IP addresses automatically to the clients who is requesting for an IP address
DHCP Relay Agent
A DHCP relay is a computer or router that listens for DHCP broadcasts from DHCP clients and then relays those messages to DHCP servers.

DHCP Reservation
A reservation is a specific IP address within a scope that is permanently reserved to a specific DHCP client
Domain Controller
The domain controller allows you to store user account information, authenticates users and enforces security policy for a Windows domain.
Domain
This is a logical secure administrative boundary and each domain in the directory is identified by a DNS domain name.
Domain Naming Master
Allows you to check and maintains the uniqueness of the domain names in the whole forest. Responsible for adding, removing and renaming the domain names in the whole forest.
Delegation of Control
Assigning management of an organisational unit (OU) to another user or group. Provides users or groups more control over local network resources
Disk Quota
Used to monitor and limit the amount of disk space available to individual users. Disk quota tracks and control disk space usage.
Directory Access Protocol (DAP)
Computer networking standard the Directory Access Protocol based on OSI layers
Default Gateway
It gives the exit point (or) entry point to reach the destination
